American and Canadian universities
and colleges require foreign students to take TOEFL examinations. Universities
and colleges in Canada and the United States usually require a minimum
TOEFL score of 550.
Most TOEFL testing centres are
now using computer-based tests. Vancouver English Centre
has revised its TOEFL Preparation Program to help students succeed with
the new computer-based
TOEFL test.

TOEFL Preparation Program is helpful to international students and professionals
who wish to enter the university system in Canada or the United States.
We prepare students for the TOEFL test quickly and efficiently. Our
well-equipped computer labs will familiarize you with computer-based
TOEFL testing , to ensure you are completely prepared to take the
TOEFL test on a computer. Our Resource Development Team constantly prepares
and purchases new resources, to ensure that students have the latest preparation
software and textbooks. VEC also offers various other English
language courses to improve our students' general English language
skills.

At Vancouver English Centre,
we offer comprehensive TOEFL and TOEIC preparation programs. The
benefits of TOEFL preparation at VEC are:

- Full-time and part-time courses
- Computer lab access seven days a week
The Vancouver English
Centre TOEFL Preparation Program for the TOEFL Test includes 4
levels. New students are placed in an appropriate level when
they begin. Level adjustments are made every 4 weeks. Part-time students
may join the Preparation Program in either the morning or the afternoon.
Most TOEFL students, however, are in full-time programs. You may study
as many weeks as you like. VEC's Preparation Courses include: Listening
Comprehension, Structure, Reading Comprehension, and Writing.
